Back to Vorliq Risk Notice

Terms of Use

This page is a plain-English risk and terms summary for Vorliq. It is not legal advice. Vorliq is community savings bank software built on its own blockchain with the VLQ coin. People who use Vorliq should make their own decisions, check their local laws, protect their keys, and avoid treating VLQ or any Vorliq feature as a guaranteed financial product.

Responsible Use

Vorliq is live software. Features can contain bugs, public nodes can go offline, governance can change supported rules, and user interfaces can change as the project evolves. Use small starter amounts first and do not rely on Vorliq for essential financial needs.

No Financial Advice

Vorliq does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice. Nothing in the app, documentation, SDK, whitepaper, forum, chat, pitch materials, or social posts should be treated as advice to acquire, dispose of, hold, mine, lend, borrow, coordinate peer requests, or vote in a particular way.

No Guaranteed Value

VLQ has no guaranteed market value, is not listed on public exchanges by the Vorliq project, and should not be treated as an investment promise. Mining rewards, treasury rewards, tips, peer community requests, lending activity, governance rewards, and other economic activity are software features that may change through governance or software updates.

User-Controlled Wallets

Vorliq does not store user wallet private keys on the server. A private key controls its wallet address. Lost keys cannot be recovered by Vorliq, the community, or project maintainers. Anyone who obtains a private key can control that wallet. Users are responsible for storing keys, passwords, encrypted backups, and devices safely.

Transaction Finality

Vorliq transactions cannot be reversed by the project, node operators, miners, or support channels. Users are responsible for checking receiver addresses, amounts, pending status, and confirmations before treating a transaction as final.

Community Exchange Risks

The exchange feature is a community coordination board for internal community requests, including requests where a member is requesting VLQ or offering VLQ. It is not a licensed exchange, broker, dealer, escrow service, or marketplace operator. Users are responsible for evaluating counterparties, local rules, delivery, payment, taxes, disputes, and whether a request is lawful or appropriate.

Lending Risks

The lending feature is a community voting and record-keeping tool. Vorliq is not a licensed lender, bank, credit provider, or debt collector. Loan approvals, repayments, and community votes do not guarantee repayment, enforceability, credit quality, or legal rights.

Mining Risks

Mining is the proof-of-work feature used to add blocks to the Vorliq chain. Rewards are not a guaranteed income source. Mining rules, cooldowns, treasury splits, difficulty, and reward parameters can change through governance or software updates.

Governance Risks

Governance lets VLQ holders vote on supported settings. Votes can produce outcomes other users disagree with, and governance logic can have limitations or bugs. Users should read proposals carefully and understand that approved proposals may change how the network behaves.

Availability and Data Risks

The public node is a convenience gateway, not a guarantee of uptime or decentralization. Data may be delayed, incomplete, corrupted by bugs, or unavailable during maintenance or incidents. Decentralization improves only when independent operators run and verify their own nodes.

User Responsibility

Users are responsible for their own actions, keys, wallet backups, posts, offers, votes, local laws, taxes, and risk decisions. Do not post private information in public fields, do not share private keys, and do not use Vorliq in a way that violates laws or harms other community members.

Community Moderation

Vorliq may hide, lock, pin, unpin, review, dismiss, or action reports for public community content. Moderation does not delete blockchain history and does not make profiles verified legal identities. Wallet verification proves wallet control only.

No Regulated Financial Institution

Vorliq uses community savings bank to describe the product experience: community savings and lending activity recorded on Vorliq's own blockchain with VLQ. It does not claim regulated banking status, formal financial-services status, legal lending status, custody guarantees, or guaranteed financial returns.

Legal Review

This page is a plain-language draft written to describe Vorliq honestly. It is not legal advice and is not a finished, binding contract. It should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer for your jurisdiction before being relied on as a formal terms-of-service or legal document.
